Rocker Shaft Hold downs

Got my J heads on the way and I have hughes adjustable rockers in a box already. Looking at hold downs for the rocker shafts. I can pull the stock ones (675s) when I do the swap. Or should I pick up aftermarket hold downs? Engine will be a HFT cam under .500 lift.

Funny thing is that the hughes hold downs are cheaper than picking up a set of the stock replacements...

I would see no problem with using the stockers.

I run the hughes rockers and hold downs, good quality and have run them for years no issues.

they used to have them with 340,,,360 or LA Engine scripted on the hold down.....I think I have 4 or 5 sets of them ...and I need another set soon.....got another 408 starting to cook....

I was hoping that since my rockers are adjustable I won't need shims? So I wasn't going to use those, but I saw them.
