While on my trip back in October I took the following pics of this old
Phillips 66 Station:

I get home and open up a calendar that I had purchased on the same
trip. This is what I saw on one of the pages:

How cool is that!

That old gas station is quite a step back in time.....really cool pics 8) Where on Route 66 is that?

I like your real pics better myself, but opening the calendar and seeing it that way is pretty fun too!!

More on this later 8) Thank you Tony  I saved the pictures and see what can be dun with my 66 Victoria in the picture

Kinda cool to take a step back in time like that.Great pics Tony, thanks. Was that a corvette going by?8)

I meant the corvette from the show,I think it was Martin Milner and some other guy cruisin route 66 in their corvette.8)

Hey DRENO, now that I think about it....you're right!

While on the trip I did buy the complete first and second season and
half of the third season on DVD. Of course they are black and white.

I watched the orig. show every week. Now when I watch them they
are all new again. It must be a memory thing for us old farts.

And DRENO if you didn't see my post on your birthday thread.....

You are in the club! In fact, I think this makes about 8 years for you.

I think when MeMike turned 50 someone said something about joining
the old fart's club, So I'm guessing 50 or more and you're in!

In 2 or 3 more years I guess I will be in the "Really Old Fart's Club"

Tony

Got another picture I just have to share:

My dream vacation is to start at the beginning & drive as much of the original 66 as I can find.
