School me on 440 blocks?

My Dad is looking for a replacement block for the non-original block in my Mom's 67 GTX.

Trying to help out. I know a little, but I'm sure you guys know more.

Can you tell me the differences in year model blocks and HP vs. Non-Hp blocks?

I have a line on a couple motor home 440's.
Any real disadvantages to these blocks? Or the later 70's blocks?
