'70 383 Swinger
I have a 70 swinger with a 383/ 4 speed. I already have schumacher headers installed. I was wondering if anyone was running a mini starter with these headers and 4 speed. I hate the stock mopar starters.

just use a stock starter off a 95 ram. thats what i used. theyre basically stock mini starters. or just order a summit starter for $130ish

im installing my cheap ebay one tomorrow it was only like 50ish shipped i'll let you know how well it fits

i did my install fits ok not the best tho looks like the starter sits right against the header tube theres about 1/16 in. free space as far as the starter goes it fits and thats about the best i can say i think i may have to shim it out its lined up perfect on the top but on the bottom it isnt flush

i've had manifolds and now have 2in. 3.5in. collectors. there's no size/clearance problems with the above listed starters especially with the summit one. with starters, i say dont cheap out. actually get a quality one. because you really dont want to be changing them when you have a BB. everything is tight enough as it is, you know?
