Thinking on my 67 Dart Convertible of either having the belts rewebbed or replacing the whole works. I probably will be taking my 10 year nephew on cruises, car shows etc. and would like safer belts, the old belts are hard and discolored and I can see where they would be easy to accidentally unlatch in case of an accident, is there a aftermarket replacement that would still look somewhat vintage that would have a better latch, or has anyone made some sort of cover(thinking velcro and heavy duty elastic)to wrap around the seat belt latch.
Thanks

There was a company called "SSnake Oyl" that used to reweb seat belts back to the OEM material and rework the latches so they functioned properly. I looked them up on the net, and the website is; www.SSnake-Oyl.com. They are located in Tyler, TX and their phone number is 1-800-284-7777. I hope this helps you out.
