Shifter mounts... differences?

I'm new the the 4 speed swap scene. I've got an A body 833 and a hurst competition plus setup with rods and all. I need to start looking for a mount for the shifter to the trans. Are all 833 mounts the same ? Will this shifter mount using a stock plate? What's the skinny here? I see 833 B body plates on eBay.. but they say B body. Thanks for the help guys.

There are many different ones. I dont know the numbers but do know the early A takes a different one than the later A and so on.

Will a stock later A body accept a competition plus shifter ?
