Shock Mount

Hi everyone,

When looking at the upper shock mounts from inside the engine compartment, the passenger side mount seems to be flush up against the inner fender/frame, where as the drivers side mount has a gap somewhere between 1/4" and 3/8".
Is this normal? And if it's not any ideas on how to fix it?

what car? my duster is the same way, i blamed it on having so much torque it just twisted everything.

if i had that much motor anyhow

Sorry, forgot to state that it's a 74 dart sport with a 318.

It's just manufacturing tolerances or some damage through the years. As long as the car aligns properly it's not an issue.
