Size Matters

hey guys, i've got a set of small bolt pattern cragar ss's, i believe they are 14 inch rims. does anyone know what the biggest size tire is i can safely put on these rims? and what is the smallest size? they will be a daily driver mostly but will be used to teach rice burners and mustangs a lesson when needed. thanks guys.

oh, ya. went and measured them, 7 inches

Just to be sure, did you measure the total width of the wheels or the width between the flanges where the tire beads seat? A 6" wheel will have a total width of about 7".

I'm running 225/70-14 on the front of the demon but the wheels are 14" x 6". The widest tire listed by BF Bananaskin for the 14 x 7 wheel is 245/60-14. You should also find that somewhere on the cragars will be stamped the dia. and width.
