Slant 6 cutting off...driving me crazy

:read2:Hello my car started to die on me the other day and when i first start to drive it , its fine for maybe about 5 mins or so and when i come to a hard braking and slowing down to fast it cuts off on me....I adjusted my points and change wires and spark plugs...do you guys have anymore ideas...and after it dies I have to maintain the gas for it not to die out on me....

Replace fuel pump and filter, sounds like it's starved for fuel.
