Hi folks,
Just got myself a stripped out Duster shell.

I have a pile of B-body front suspension and no later A-body.

Is it possible to retro fit B-body upper and lower arms with disc brake spindles?

Or as its gonna be a track car just go for a front A100 beam axle?

What front suspension did they run, back in the day???

Many thanx for any info from John

I think it depends on if replicating Super Stock, match racing or Pro Stock and what year exactly. Things changed quickly. Most needed stock suspension offered in a specific body style. Modifications were done...ie. Swiss cheese upper control arms, acid dipped control arms, drilled brake components, gun drilled bolts everywhere, tiny torsion bars, retro fitted rack and pinion steering,

I also believe in the Herb McCandless documentary, he mentioned widening the frame rails to B body width for more Hemi room in the 72 Demon. I have talked with him a bunch and that car is seriously modified from stock

I believe the Sox & Martin book of drag racing had pictures on the cars and chassis. Old Super Stock and Drag Illustrated was good for pics and info.
