speaking of early A convertible side panels.

just got off the phone with the interior guy and he said He might be able to do the carpet that goes on the side panels WOOOOHOOO I need some black ones for my wife's and some 250 dark brown for my dart ...yeah baby.
here is what I have now. and hopefully he can make the pieces I need

update. in mid- September the Lincoln interior guy I'm working for says he can have my black sets ready to go.(dang, even I'm in the waiting list line). I just have to call Auto Custom Carpets to get some brown carpet (1 yard) then he can order the trim weight vinyl and he can have the brown ones done for me too!
I'm thinking of him making up a couple extra sets of black ones for sale if anyone would be interested in replacing their side panel carpet for 63-66 A's

Just got the rear side panel pieces sewn up and trimmed, now I have to make my side panel look as good as these pieces do!

I'm test fitting the panels now to see if I need to alter the pattern on the carpet and binding. here is where I'm at now
good fit on the lower front side.

nice curl to fit on the front

even the bottom will fit nice! and it'll fit under the chrome strip just right! yeah baby!
