Speedo gear install?

To engage the gear which way do I rotate the housing, clockwise or counterclockwise..... doesn't matter?

904, 727, .50 cal.?? Which trans?

If it's 904, 727 just work it either way until it seats, once seated make sure you clock the housing to the corresponding tooth count for whichever gear you put in.

Thank you for the in put but I gave mrmopartech a call and he walked me thought it... Went from a 28 gear to a 37

X 2 for the 904 or 727

For the .50 cal M2, you'll need a go/no go gauge. IIRC get barrel screwed in and back off 2 clicks. Lift bullet extractor tray and insert gauge. Adjust barrel until no go will not enter gap, but go will enter. Needs to be set every time barrel is installed.

On the 727 tranny in my 1968 cuda we bought they removed the gear and installed a frost plug can I reinstall the speedo gear or is this a job for a tranny shop
