Im new to all this but not new to fabricating. Got my kit and started taking a look underneath on what has to go etc.... Noticed that the passenger side gas tank side will rub against the leaf pack. How to you fix this? Not doing a fuel cell.

Any help would be great tahnks!

Cheers
Steven

seems tho im really closed to the passenger side tank?

Yes, the tank sits closer on the passenger side.

ok so shouldnt rub, but be close fit. Man such a great site..:) thanks!

My car is a 67 so it might be a little different, but my right spring was slightly rubbing my brand new gas tank. I put a wide smooth paddle tool between them and pushed the tank away, slightly denting it in that area. Clears fine now, and no one is the wiser...except you guys!!!

well looks like its not a big rub even if it does... so should be able to handle it with a flat padle type object if it does.

I used a smooth paddle type of tire iron like this...
