Well finally got my 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger RB 440 / 727 torqueflite transmission started today crank over on the first term started right up and sounds completely obnoxious

Sounds good.

Resist the urge to mini tub it...some 9 x 28 slicks will hook with a mild 440. Get long shocks, a solid front bushing, extra clamps for front spring segments, and remove rear clamps. No snubber.
