I have a starter p/n P4529127 what was it for originally for?

Don't know PN, but I think Mopar starters were the same for all engines (cars, trucks, vans) from ~1962 until ~1989. The smaller starter for the Magnum engines interchanges.

From my google search, it's the small lightweight starter for the later engines that also will fit on the earlier engines...

You would have to have a parts book or see a dealer and have them look it up to find out what it came on from the factory..
