before I start my duster up in march should I pull the plugs and put oil in each cylinder, then leave the plugs out a day or two, put em back and then try starting? should I turn the engine over with the plugs out? or is this all over kill???? any other things I should be doing before starting? car has been properly done up for winter sleep, thanks for any info

I always turn the motor every few weeks, but should of sprayed some wd-40 in the holes before the car went to sleep

I agree with ted...when I put my vintage cars away..I would squirt a dab of oil in the cylinders but in the spring, I would just start it with an eye on oil pressure. Some like to grind the engine over first to get the oil pressure up then start it but one car i had for over 25 yers and not a problem with this regime..
