LOL KI remember the fraternigty days in HS when we were underage. We gave old Ben a honarary membership just so he could buy us beer. He had to be 70! Pretty funny now. He went to 7-11 with a hand truck usually!

An apprentice I worked with had kin in Texas. On family holidays they loaded up the pickup with Olympia and took it to trade for Lone Star
I always laughed at the people that went to Minnesota for "strong beer". They called it 6 point. No, it was 3.6 abv. Light beer was 3.2 abv.

My Dad was an Oly fan. The Operating Engineers went on strike one summer, I think I was 13 or 14, "Load up the trailer and the kids! We're goin' on vacation!" he called Mom. Wound up in British Columbia. On the way Olympia Brewery tour. I saw all those water fowl swimming in their "artesian well" water source for the brewery and told myself "NEVER"
