Strut between lower control arm and "K" frame?

Question, height adjustment p-52 and 53 of shop manual, shows taking measurements at A & B. The specifications show 2" plus or minus 1/8". Don't make any sense. Thanks
 
I have everything back together, I am not getting the new bushing to seat into the groove. I tried Cuda Al's recommendation driving it around but it won't seat. Any ideas would help. Thanks
 
Maybe not tight enough, I got them down as far as I could today with a 1" box wrench, took it out for a bumpy ride, it is getting close. It calls for 40ft lbs torque I don't know if they make a 1" deep socket that will go down the strut that far. Thanks
