Summit Racing 8.5mm Ignition Wires

So I needed some wires for my 440 and I heard a rumor that these are really made by MSD, just that they are black instead of red. If so, it's a great way to save $25. I ordered them. Anybody know if there is any truth to this? I am going to hook a multimeter to them and measure the ohms.

dont know but i got a set on my small block duster and they work just fine...they are more of a gray then black

Used Summit plug wires on a Brand X car a while back - they were sometimes a bit too short for OEM routing but otherwise OK.
