Swap from 904-7 1/4 to 727- 8 3/4

My 74 Duster had the stock 904 and 7 1/4 but its been swapped to a 727 and a 8 3/4 with 30 spline axles, spool and 2.74 gears.

Im having problems trying to get the Speedo to work. Everything seems to be hooked up between the cluster and transmission.

What am I missing?

Did you check to make sure the speedo gear is in the trans? Just because the housing/connection is there, doesnt mean your builder stuck the gear in there..... or it is clocked wrong for the gear that is there.

The ends of the strand for the speedo cables are ground to a square. Make sure that it mates properly with the trans and speedo when installing....
