Most Restoration Companies (Year One and Classic Industries) sell aftermarket sway bar bushing kits. Any leads or suggestions on factory style one piece front sway bushing assemblies? My car had two in great shape, slid them off to paint the sway bar and they have somehow disappeared.

Thanks in advance

Slid them off? Or took a cut off wheel to the bracket?

They were narrow enough that once I hit them with WD-40 they made the turn and slid right off the end of the sway bar. All metal intact..no cutting... Finding a bushing isn't the problem,it's the OEM metal it was in that I'm upset about being misplaced

You want these

Those were cut yes?

I replaced my bushings on resto and had no problems getting the shells off un-cut. Getting the new poly Bushings in was more fun!

I used two pieces of notched plywood and a couple c-clamps to pop the new bushings back into the original shells while in position on the bar at rebuild. I admit, it would have been nice to have a third hand though!
