Got the rear end under the dart, but the clamp on perches don't fit like I had hoped. Is it acceptable to just use my weld on perch but not weld it, and clamp it with ubolts until it's time to set the pinion angle? Between now and then it will get rolled out of the garage a few times, and at some point rolled straight back onto a trailer and taken to the sandblaster.
I could try to limit the amount of turning that's done so it's all straight rolling. The perch is simply there to locate the spring on the axle...and I'm using large spring perches so it's hard to image if it was clamped it'd be a problem. Has anyone ever tried this?
