Through Frame Brake Lines

I'm exploring rerouting my 68' Dart front brake lines through the frame using those "Through the frame" connectors. I started to replace my front brake lines, but the connectors are so rusted they simply stripped. Even a vice grip won't break them loose. So, I'm afraid my only course of action left is to rip out the old lines, and run new ones. I found 25' of Stainless for a great price, and figure I could route the new lines to fit the new engine config.

Any ideas or suggestions?
