tie rod tube pan

Anyone ever add a tube to a 9 qt dragster pan for a tie rod pass thru ? Thinking about going back to more stock front end set up , and get away from the dragracing set up I have now .
It drives good to great on the dragstrip , and good on the hi way , but not so hot on our Okla. pig trails . I dont race anymore and drive on the street for the most part... ,68 fastback, 440/505 , 727, dana 60, factory bucket seats, w/ console , 6 point bar, only weighed 3270 at the dragstrip / much to do with the front end...nor for sale yet , but will be after conversion back to stock...

It was in a 69 RR convertible. Motor was an Indy Maxx all aluminum 526 wedge. With a 6 pack topping it off. Single line Milodon oiling system. Kim
