Tire Options.

Hello All;
I need the help of the Traction Kings as it were.

Prelims;
'75 Dart More Door
Mild teen, 0 deck, +.030, heads cut .020 with big valves.
TF904 with stage 2 kit. 3.55 SG out back.
Stock Suspension.

Been to the track 3 times with the same results.
Spinning Tires....
I have been told that is because of the BFG's on the back. (245/60 -R15)
I have about 1-1/4" clearance as it sits right now.

Question is, what should I put on it?
Trying to keep it on budget. (Got 2 boys in College)
I am open to D.O.T. Cheaters or straight street tires.
Car is a driver, not a track car.
I have read alot about tires and cannot decide. They all say great traction, long wearing, blah, blah, blah. So I am looking for some real experience.
Also, what do you think about Used Cheaters for the track only?
Auction house has some pretty good deals on them and I could put them on a pair of 'Track' wheels.
Anyway, I am getting ready to buy and need the help....

Same size tires as both my barracuda and 350 s-10. Worthless tire for the track. I'd buy a seperate set of cheap steel wheels and put slicks on them. Maybe 26x8 if they'll fit. All you do with the bfg's is burn the tread off and not go anywhere fast so I'd keep them just for street use.
