too much oil pressure?

How much is too much? I have a melling high volume oil pump on my 440. cold its 80 psi, warm it is 60+. I figure this may have something to do with my valve covers leaking.

I have 80psi cold at idle and 100psi at 2000 rpm cold. Hot it's 60 at idle and 80 at 2000 rpm. Big block mopars have a lot of oil pressure. It's normal.

I doubt that's your valve cover issue, unless it's just flooding the top with oil. With that pressure, have you considered a lighter weight oil? Might pick up a few ponies and easily still be in a safe zone pressure wise?
