got this from a friend who wanted me to get it running whatever it cost because he wanted it dependable. have $125 in gaskets, carb kit, fuel line, oil change, and I believe I put valve springs in. (belts where also replaced---have to pull cover to verify but not sure why I would not have done that). when I was done, he decided he would just get something new.UGH! so, I tried it out. electric starter works fine as does the gas tank shut-off valve. runs well, all speeds work.
when it gets into to heavy snow it appears that the bearing and or bushing that holds the impeller moves up causing the belt to slack and not discharge. parts are under $50 but I'm not interested in doing this cause the unit is to small for my driveway. the plastic or whatever they are made of tires are in good condition. $80, you pick-up in Darien IL.
