Torque spec

may be a stupid question, but are the torque spec-the same on an Alum LD 340 intake and a stock cast iron intake?

Edelbrock states 25ft/lbs tightened in two steps. This is with at Air-Gap intake. What I used for my intake. I believe the cast iron is 30ft/lb. I went what Eddy said until I have a reason to crank down on it harder. Used ARP Thread sealant on the bolts so oil won't weep up onto the intake from the heads.
