Here's my problem on my 72 demon 340 with 750 TQ from a dead stop and i hammer it got a hesatation(sp?) but from a roll i can squak the tires.

so what i need to know what/how to i fix this?
as i'm not a carb. guy

what needs to be adjusteted so i don't bog from a dead stop? :-k

thanks

Try tightening the spring on the secondary air valve a little. If this valve is opening too soon it will cause a hesitation. There is a screw on top of the carb with a lock nut on it.Youll need two screwdrivers, one to hold the screw and one to loosen the lock nut. Try adjusting it a little at a time until you get the results you like.

moparracer, would that be the screw that needs the special tool where the screw driver goes down the center of tool?

as i had one made to use but didn't know what to do?

also tighten screw say 1/4 turn at a time and test or go more/less?

thanks for help.
