Tranny mount replacement

The stock 904 rubber mount looks like it is captured in the metal housing? How do you go about swapping the rubber mount? There is a tab that holds part of it, can that be bent back slide the rubber mount out install the new one and bend the tab back over?

Car is a 71 duster 6 cyl 904. Swapping in 383 and 727

Well out to the garage with a 5 lb sledge hammer and some big chisels. that bastard is coming out one way or another, i can always get a welding shop to repair it.

new mounts come with the metal.

It's out! A little pry action and a bit of tapping and it works it's way out! Looked like it was going to be a bigger fight than it was !
