Transmission Fluid leak 65' Cuda

Working on my 65 Barracuda restoration, I notice a lot of random pinkish fluid splattered under the car. I was digging around looking for the source of the problem and I found my speedometer cable was worn completely through where it attaches to a hold down. Is it safe to assume that is the source of the leak or do I need to swap pan gaskets etc.

Yes, unless you see fluid leaking from somewhere else. Mine leaked from the filler tube. New O ring fixed the problem! 65'

Hopefully it won't run out at the back of the speedo head all over your pant legs when you fix that leak.
