Does anyone know where I can find an aftermarket shifter for my 90 3/4 ton dodge with granny 4 speed? The throw on the stockie is a country mile long! Even if the aftermarket has less curve, that would be helpful

I don't think you're going to find any type of aftermarket shifter for that transmission (assuming it's a np435). Your best bet is to pull the handle out and see whats going on, the pins in the ball socket are probably worn. Don't forget this is a truck transmission, it's going to shift like a truck, especially into first gear.

It shifts ok. It's just suck a long throw... I gues my only option is to heat it up and bend over a little to the left. I have to reach WAY over to put it in 3rd lol
