U-bolt

is there a cheat to knowing what tube diameter and length my new u-bolts need to be?

i can get a friend of mine to fab them up .. he owns a chassis shop.

anyone know what they would be for a 8.25 ... a-body.. stock leafs..left and right???

Don't make any sense (making them). Go to a good parts store. Not autozone or other discount places. Tell them you need 3in.u-bolts.
They are somewhere between 7 1/2in. to 8 in. long. Just measure from
the top of the axle tube to about 2 in. below the shock plate. They have
them cheap enough and strong enough.
