Any one know what u-joint to purchase?
Need to adapt a driveshaft from a 340/904/8.75 Dart, with the small rear joint to fit a 8.75 rear with the larger yoke. I don't want to change the yoke, as the Pumpkin is a borrowed piece. Thanks.

Combination 7260 to 7290 style--- Spicer 5-527X, Meritor CP527X, Precision 347, CR UJ347, TRW 20226, Napa NUJ240-0369, Neapco 2-0527

I get mine from a shop that supplies Spicer so I don't know about the quality of any of the other alternates.

Thanks, that's what I needed. I can get one of those locally, and get the job done. Any one should be good enough, Slant six car, and will only be in for about a month.

oh slant six.... you can wrap that in ducktape...

really ? cool , hey my shaft is about 5 inches to short with the 904 instead of the 727 can I just cut it in the middle and duct tape a coke can between the halfs to make it longer ?

Got a Moog, yesterday, from Advance. They were able to use the Nepco number. Will get it in, today. Rained yesterday afternoon.
I borrowed a 4.89 SG pumpkin from a friend. Going to a 1/8 mile track at Knoxville, Tn, the first weekend of Aug. Going to try and break into the 7's, with my 66 Valiant.
Then I'll put new clutches in my 7 1/4 3.91 SG rear, and reinstall that. Or I might just change the gears in the 8 3/4 (need to find some 3.91 or 4.10), and save the 7 1/4 for my 65 Valiant.
