I bought a set of brand new stamp steel upper control arms. I have to assemble it(bushings and upper ball joint). Should I put any anti sieze on the threads of the upper ball joint? Lastly, I don't have the special socket for the ball joint. Rather than spend the money from mancini racing can I just use a monkey wrench? Is it just snug tight or is there a torque value? Thanks.

I personally like to use anti-seize on ALL threads during any assembly process. Good luck with the monkey wrench....it needs to go to 125 ft./lbs minimum....

Many auto supply stores have the socket you need in their loan a tool program.
