Use e-brake cables during this swap ?

Hi,
Trying to plan ahead for my upcoming swap. Can You all tell me if this will work?

1964 Dodge Dart 7 1/4 rear, 9 " drum.

Converting to 8 3/4 with stock 10" drum brakes.

The emergency brake cables. Will the existing original emergency brake cables swap right over or do I need different ones?

I'm not familiar with the early A's, but they worked fine on my 74.

If you have an adjuster under the car like the newer ones do, back it off some because of the larger drums you will be able to get one side hooked up, and it will be extremely tight on the other.

Had me scratching my head for a minute.

As long as the cable ends are the same AND you have an adjuster under the car. Mine was right under the passenger front seat.
