I am going to make a knife out of a leaf spring. I need a small 6-12 inch chunk of original leaf spring from a 1972 Valiant.

Also if anyone has any original leaf spring chunks from a 340 or hemi car let me know... I am looking to make some original mopar metal knives.

Also if anyone has some good a body 4 speed shift knobs I can use for the handle end, let me know what is out there. Or if anyone has other ideas for handles...

Leaf spring chunks don't need to be in good condition other than not rusted through.

Thanks yall!

i've got a whole rear passenger side leaf pack, free if you want it, just pay the shipping. I can bust it apart for ya too if you want.

what car is it from?

And i will take the smallest leaf. if you could cut the sucker i would pay $10+ shipping. I just need about a foot of spring steel.

try the golf course bed knife of their reel mowers, ie greens, fairway mowers. good steel. try toss them away pretty regularily if a "real" course.

I can relate...

A companion piece, eh?
