I’m looking for valve covers with baffles that my 273 rockers won’t hit.

Can anyone give me suggestions?

I have a 340 with X heads. Currently I’m running these covers and the rocker is tapping the baffle even when I run a double size gasket. Mancinis site states these are stock height covers.

The Mopar Performance covers Mancini sells also state stock height so I’m lost on what works.

I’ve got Mickey Thompson covers that are baffled and don’t interfere.

Are you using the Crane adjusters? Only clearance issue I had was using those. Had to massage the baffles out of the way. Using Factory 273 Valve covers.

Now that you mention it, yes. Using crane adjusters.
They are taller then stock. Like I posted, I had to bend the baffles to clear. A little. I put valve cover in my bench vise, used a block of wood on the inside and pushed just enough to bend the baffles out of the way. A few attempts and all was good.

Old style Edelbrock "classic" aluminum ones have lots of room. #4176 or 41763

I can't open the link to see what you have. I may have some VC's out there that would work.

You sure do have trouble with this thing.
