I have a column shift 71 dart Swinger that I have swapped from 904 /6 to 727 sb v8. Does someone out there have a full setup for abody, correct linkage from column to trans for 727? I would like to buy it. Please PM me if you can help. Thank you

The linkages are in the same position for a 904 & 727, so any SB v-8 linkages will work (complete set-ups).

the torque shaft for a 727 is about an inch shorter than the 904 unit because a 727 is wider. You can force the longer 904 piece in and it will work but won't be quite right and may bind a bit.

Is the shifter arm on the transmission valve body shaft the same as /6 or is it different for a v8?

it's been a while but i think the trans brackets are different heights as well and the correct one should be used to keep the torque shaft level. You can probably "fanagle" that part.
