I am looking for a good running 340. It does not need to be anything special or have the 340 exhaust manifolds. just running good. I can pick up within a 300 or so mile radius of 94066 (San Bruno CA) I am also willing to pay to have the right engine shipped to me.

I have a 1971 340 with Weiand intake, Holley 650 carb, 2.02/1.88 valves. The motor ran very strong when I removed it. I'm doing a restoration on my Dart and I'm looking at getting another motor. I'm in LA the engine is in West Hills 91307. Because it is a 340 and it runs well, I'm asking $5,000.

1970 71 340 4 speed motor running less than 500 miles rebuilt 2007 -08 3500 $ everything comes with it except carb n manifolds . Its in my 69 GTS . PM for photo's and hear it running It looks all stock inside mint mild cam and roller rocker arms was balanced at Ray Barton 300$ steel crank 340 rods trw pistons . I'm In Philadelphia Pa 19148 shipping may be threw the roof .. rebuild was done in April 2008

Standard bore 340 is a 71 block out of a Cuda Grandma drivin car with less than 20,000 factory miles speed equipment shop NE rebuild Trw forged flat tops steel 4 speed crank 340 rods all balanced , top are the 71 aajj heads Intakes are 2.08 stainless steel Mildon valves 1.65 on exhaust , Mild street able HYD flat tappet cam , steel roller rockers , double roller timing set cloyes the factory 69 -70 Intake manifold , It looks pretty stock outside car ran best of 12.40 June 2008 at atco its a highway driven car used for work 2007 -2008 95 S to RnStrauss n Midas where worked 2 shifts .

Rob- Im up here in the bay area and have a 1970 340 motor. It was part of a trade for my car and was rebuilt so they sais but I got no paperwork with it. I took off one of the heads and you can see the cross hatching in the cylinders and no scuff marks from being run. I am asking 2100 for the motor and its complete except manifolds, dist, and water pump
