So finally after 35 years of welding with this reliable unit, I finally bought a proper HF cart. Pretty happy with it and the price with the holiday sale.
Yeah, the baby bottle doesn't go very far.Nice upgrade - next is a bottle you don't have to refill every couple weeks
...and I'm pretty sure any bottle with a sufficient charge becomes an instant missile if you knock the valve assembly off.
I haven't had any problems. The only thing my supplier is 100% firm on is nothing leaves their property unless it's secured in the back of a truck. No SUVs, no vans, no bungee cords. Pick up truck and ratchet straps. I happen to agree with them.i think they confiscate big bottles when you take them in to refill now dont they? some kind of 911 make go bang things out of them excuse
i have the same welder. i bought the harbour freight one with the drawers in it
Did they keep it because of damage? If its an owner bottle they should swap it, regadless. Maybe he got hold of a lease bottle by mistake? I always double check when I swap, that I get an owner bottle!thats what i thought. doesnt matter what size bottle it is. but a buddy of mine took his bottle for a refill and the supply co. confiscated his large bottle. he called the cops and they let them take it. so he was sol and had to buy a smaller bottle after they stole his original one.
If it's a lease bottle, yes. That's why I own my own bottles. If you are not on record as having a lease agreement they will confiscate bottle because so many get stolen
I have a one piece cart from Northern Tool. Powder coated. It was under $100 too. I didn't like the carts that you had to assemble. Too much wobble.
