What color upper control arms?

As the title states, does anyone know what color or if the upper control arms were painted on 66 vintage Mopars?
The lowers have traces of black on them. I am helping him get his car back on the road again after sitting for 30 or so years(he has had other things to do). It is a one owner and he is the original owner but there are few traces of paint on the undercarriage. Thanks for any help.

What I know of the upper control arms where left nateral! No nothing! However Mopar Parts Division had them as spare parts. They were painted gloss black!!

They are painted "rust" from day one.

Do you mean they were painted a "rust" color or is this your way of saying that they started rusting from day one?
If you mean that they rust, these have done well. No pitting after or anything after 47 years. Can't say the same for me when I was 47.
