What is this engine worth?

Blueprint 408 Mopar engine with 5,000 miles on it.
Brand New it is $3,600 but comes with a 2.5yr/50,000 mile warranty

This is used and past the 2.5 years so I'm sure the warranty is void.

Given the miles, and the basic nature of it, I'd say somewhere around $1000 if you find someone who isn't familiar with Blueprint products.

I've read those posts years ago.
Blueprint had big problemos with those 408 and not making things right with folks.

Just saw an ad for it and was curious what the value of something like that was.

One thing should be painfully obvious. This is a 408 stroker selling for $3600. Not $6600. Not $5600. Nuff said.

Exactly, I dont know how they can even make it for that, my 360 shortblock costed more than that! And I did all the work.

A classic case of, "You get what you pay for." I often wondered if those engines were any good at that price.

I have that blueprint engine in my 67 belvedere for 4-5 years haven't maybe put a thousand miles but so far so good. Dustin
