73 Olds 442 Coupe,Only GM muscle I ever owned, paid 200 bucks for it off the wholesale line at the dealership I worked at when I lived in SoCal. Burgundy with white stripe and hood louvers, Swivel buckets, Hurst Shifter, way cool car,...455, T-10 4speed, 10 bolt posi,

Had over a hundred cars in 30 plus years,...very few brand X's

Learned to drive in a 70 Torino..
Had a few VW Beetles and a dune Buggy
Had a 65 Cadi Calias when I was in the navy, HUGE,...also very cool
Had an 86 Ranger and an 88 F150, both 4WD,...Unkillable...
an 83 Chevette,...Kilt it,...dead...

took over payments for my brother's 83 Camaro,...WORST CAR MISKAKE I EVER MADE,...P.O.S....Traded It for a 70's style 74 340 Charger,...Bright Red/Black/Black,...*** end in the air via air shocks and 15x12's, 14x6 in the front....Big Stoopid Fun...

and lets not forget Mama's 06 Grand Prix...

But I'd most rather have back??? The 69 R/T Charger I had when I first joined the service in 79,...sold It for 500 bucks (sans the 383 mag)to the "Dukes of Hazard" TV folks,....I'm pretty sure Its dead now...What can I say, I was young and stupid,.... :banghead::eek:ops::sad7::sad5:

I've had (and sold):

-'78 280z 5sp car w/ 4-wheel drums (The only foreign car I wish I kept)
-'66 Chevy long-bed 292 six w/ granny 4 on the floor and 4.88's (in retrospect, I hated this truck)

...I'm currently obsessed with Roadster Pick-up's... Might do one of those.

First car was a 66 Mustang. Have had several Lemans's, last one was 455 in it. Have had 9 bikes. Most fun vehicle I had was an 83 Ranger 4x4 that I put a 302/c4 in it. That truck got pounded on far worse then it should have, never left me stranded.

My other car for years was a '68 el camino SS clone. Great parts getter that got alot of attention, both good and bad.

well i have had/done. plenty of mopars. but,, also 1957 chevy 150 , 1965 mustang, and currently a 1966 corvair conv View attachment 1714503286

My uncle has a Corvair Corsa, '65 or '66 can't remember which . He stroked the motor and is running twin turbos. Caddy disc brakes and a whole lot of other stuff. He built it to beat Porsche 911 turbos. Awesome car.

Back in the days I traded my -66 Barracuda for a -68 Firebird with a 350 engine.
Orange with a black top.

I drive a 317k mile 91 civic 5 speed to work with another one (300k+) as back up in case it doesn't start (it always starts), a running 73 plymouth road runner with three parts cars, a couple of f bodies and the wife has a$ 5K 02 turbo jetta 5 speed thanks to the guys here on fabo that stopped me from buying a $14k 71 challenger as her daily driver- the only two non mopar cars i ever want are 49-51 merc like stallone's cobra movie with an old 392 hemi and (even a clone) 69-70 shelby mustang

If I had to pick one-57 Studebaker Silver Hawk-all black, white interior

I've had a number of non-MoPar toys over the years.
First car was a 1957 Ford Fairlane. Bought it in 1965 for $25.00. Had 87K miles on it, and I had it for 6 years. Sold it for $350.00

1969 VW Bus. It was red, white, and blue, with black seats and dash, red shag carpeting, and red corduroy curtains.

1932 Ford Victoria. When I bought it, it came with a Chevy (327) small block. I swapped in a 392 Hemi bolted to a 727 via a home made adapter plate and the help of a local transmission shop.

1967 Mustang Couple - 289 with a C4 (later a C6) and a 9" rear.

There were plenty of others, but, you get the idea.

Of course there were plenty of "A" bodies (that included a group of swingers, a Scamp, and a Duster) and even a "B" body or three (including a New 1968 Hemi Roadrunner) , and a couple of "C" bodies, including a Plymouth Fury III wagon.

...and of course that doesn't include the trucks, vans, and bikes. lol

I had one of these from 88-94. Still pissed I junked it.

I used to own a 73' AMX, and an 80' trans-am turbo pace car. those are the only two non mopar cars I have ever owned.

Wierd cars I'd love to own- Mercedes 6.9 or "Pagoda" convert, Bentley Turbo R (the box one from about '94-'97), Lancia Stratos, Integrale, or Thema 8.32, BMW 850 CSi

Domestics- Buick Regal GNX, new Boss 302, Shelby KR or Super Snake, '68 Rebel convertible, '71 Torino or Ranchero GT (w/shaker and the right color combo), '66 or '67 Fairlane GT convertible, '65 Implala SS (4-speed, dark color), '66 LTD convertible with the 428, '71 Buick GSX, '68 Mustang fastback, god I could keep going and get further and further out...

Currently own 63 Valiant signet 200 convt., 87 Ramcharger 4X4, 61 Cadillac 2Dr HT. Have owned...70 Maverick 2dr, 87 Monte Carlo w/T-tops, 89 Nisson Hardbody truck, 75 Full sized Blazer, 66 Dodge Monaco 500, 70 Lemans Sport, 73 Jeep Commando rockcrawler w/401...still got the 401, 89 Mustang, I'm sure there's more I just don't recall. Still looking for a Gremlin, or AMX, to drop the 401 into. As ya'll can tell, I'm a car lover...not just a mopar man. BUT...I do consider myself a MOPAR man first.

I've had a slew of chebbies. What can I say? I like them. Their interchangeability cannot be beat and when you don't have a lots dough, that can be of big benefit. Not to mention the huge amount of parts available. I'm a car guy. I like um all. Just a few of some I've had....72 298 pinto with two holleys on a tunnel ram. 75 Monza 2+2 originally a 4cyl I transplanted a 350 HP 396 into. 76 Olds Starfire 12:1 350 and powerglide. 66 E350 Econline van with a 289 with factory PS, AC, PB. That was a ONE TON Ford van....pretty rare. I've had all kinda stuff.....over 300 by now I guess. I reckon I should sit down and see how many I can remember. Probably 20 or so Chevelles in various assortments. But as time moved on I knew I wanted Mopar again. It was the first with my 73 340 Rallye charger and 71 440 RT, both original and hopefully Mopar will be my last.

I had one of these from 88-94. Still pissed I junked it.

There's a guy I know on another forum has a 440 in one of those cars......search "440 Civic" on youtube. It's a gas.

My first car was a '68 Mercury Cougar base-model 289/C4. Bought and sold before I turned sixteen...Maybe put twenty miles on it.

After that I had a '70 Olds Cutlass S with an Olds 350 and a three-speed. Swapped that out for a '76 Olds 455/TH400 from a Vista Cruiser. Gave me nothing but trouble...Traded the entire thing for a very nicely-built '85 Chevy 350 four-bolt engine that went in to...

'79 Chevy Malibu 2dr coupe. Small, full-frame and light. Loved that car...It was about as ratty as it could get for a daily driver: no real interior besides a driver's seat and a dash, broken window/door handles, a ten-bolt posi rear that took way too much beating...Totalled. :(

After that I got my '97 Plymouth Neon Expresso 2dr DOHC 5sp...Fun little car for what it was.

If I could have any of them again, it would be the '68 Cougar, although I'd prefer a '67 this time. I'm also a big fan of the Jeep SJ trucks...The Gladiator/J10/Cherokee. I'd love to find a nice, rust-free one to play with. Apparently they made a panel delivery version at one point...

Scout 304 with 3 speed in the floor 68 W200 Power Wagon ,79 W 200 PowerWagon

well wired roller coaster for me, first car a 74 Duster /6, great car, then i turned, had a 74 Camaro lt, 75 Firebird, 78 Bronco, 82 Capri,78 Imapla, then the revilation, 71 Demon race car, my current 68 Barracuda,(owned it twice), 74 Sebring Plus, many more mopars since then, now everything i own is a mopar, and always will!
