Hello,

Dropping the 360 w/ 727 TF into my 69 Dart (2door hardtop) next weekend.
I want to order the proper B&M shifter to put on my Torque flight.
I want something I can slap through all gears that is compatible and easy to install.
Also do they come with linkage?
What is everyone running??

Thanks!

I had a bunch of ratchet shifters. the quicksilver was my favorite.

aftermarket shifter in factory console

Gated shifter would be soooooooooo much better though. hated having to ratchet all the time to get into park or reverse.

Promatic 2 Hurst shifter all the way!

Another vote for the Hurst Promatic 2. Also to answer your question about linkage, I'm pretty sure all the aftermarket shifters use a cable to connect to the trans, not linkage. They will come with the cable and all the attachment hardware needed.

Mounted mine under a factory console, with a custom top plate.

Yes, cables. Promatic 2 is great! Here's a truck version of it...
