Which Oil Dipstick?

Hi All,

I have a '66 Dart with a '71 slant 225 installed. Ages ago I broke my dipstick and I finally want to replace it but have no idea where to source one. Does anyone know what will work?

I've looked on eBay and there are very specific year/body auctions but nothing that seems to match my setup.

I've looked at a Moroso 25970 universal kit but not sure I can make that work.

That Moroso stick won't work because It's threaded. Ours are a push in type. Not that you couldn't tap the block for a screw in type though. This might do the trick: Chrome Engine Oil Dipstick & Tube Set : suit Slant 6

It doesn't much matter what year/body stick and tube you use as long as you use a matched stick-and-tube set.

even with a matched set, it would be wise to drain it, refill it it with 5 qaurts and double check the markings on the stick

Yes I agree with filling with 5 quarts and marking the stick.

I scored a tube and stick from a volarie with ac . So it's taller to get by the compressor, but works.

That link looks perfect. Most of the used /6 sticks I've found, people are charging just as much.
