...but need some help. We have a 8-3/4 "B" axle shaft and end, BBP - need to know if this dimension is the same as the SBP. This dimension is measured from the axle shaft face to the axle housing face (not the retainer plate). We get 2.300" here.

I just purchased the front conversion kit for my car yesterday. Hope to be installing soon. :D
 
I come up with 2 1/8''.. Face of the axle flange to backing plate mounting area.The backing plate thickness is 1/8''.
Rear is from a 70 Duster 8 3/4 small bolt pattern with the narrow 1 3/4 shoes.

That is what we need to hear! Gracias. Will make a mockup piece and test.
 
Glad to help. As 805MoparKid said. for small bolt 2'' with the backing plate. I measured with and without,hence the extra 1/8''.
