Working on a rear disc for A body...

...but need some help. We have a 8-3/4 "B" axle shaft and end, BBP - need to know if this dimension is the same as the SBP. This dimension is measured from the axle shaft face to the axle housing face (not the retainer plate). We get 2.300" here.

I have a 8 3/4 rear with SBP. I will see if I can get a measurement this weekend.

I come up with 2 1/8''.. Face of the axle flange to backing plate mounting area.The backing plate thickness is 1/8''.
Rear is from a 70 Duster 8 3/4 small bolt pattern with the narrow 1 3/4 shoes.

should be 2.5" offset with BBP anything and 2" for the small bolt stuff

Glad to help. As 805MoparKid said. for small bolt 2'' with the backing plate. I measured with and without,hence the extra 1/8''.
