This is why mom always said ..."make sure you test fit when using headers" She's so smart.

It looks to me that I have a B-body pan, there is ample room in the arc of k-member to accept a front sump pan, this is a rear sump. Just wanted to ask the experts:

Truck pans are rear sump and that's what yours looks like. Won't work with stock steering linkage. Car pans (all body styles) are center sump. Some people call a center sump a front sump but that's technically incorrect as the sump is in the middle.

go to ebay and search
small block mopar
or
sb mopar

you need a car oil pan (center sump,,as previously stated)and Ive seen them anywhere from 40 and up brand new
I paid 55 for mine, new

Thanks guys. I will search ebay and moparts. I just returned from Summit to exchange the rear for a center and they said the center sump is no longer available from Mopar. I did get a nice set of black oxide header studs in exchange though.

I have seveal stock ones in the barn if you need one.
Also you need the pick-up for the oil pan.
Cheap.

Thanks, I was able to find one through my local Mopar club...

Sireland67...I do still need a pickup though. what have you got?
