there is no interest in these ? what to do with them ??? still for sale

"Interest" is a subjective term here I think...surely dozens of folks are plenty interested...just probably without enough cheddar to plunk down 5 figures on an engine that still needs to be assembled...or possibly nothing to put it in that would actually be suited for it

Just sayin...GLWS though!

Yeah you're asking more than premium top dollar for stuff you readily admit knowing nothing about. I don't think anybody wants to end up with a wad of scrap they paid almost 20K for. That's just stupid.

Not a buyer for the above reasons $$ and proper vehicle. From the pictures those look like very good engines and the KB aluminum one looks like a good value too. Good luck selling. Did you advertise on the B and E body sites?

Looks like the iron block has been windowed at one time from your pics. Has it?

What's up w 66 block? Has it been repaired? What is that on the side of it that resembles a bad bondo job?

Not only that,( possible crack in block), but have a look at the piece of the block that is missing under where the starter motor goes... oh there it is, cable tied to the right hand rear of the block.
Somehow I think your not going to get $18,000 for that.

Ok,let me get this right, you want 18,500$ each or best offer as you have quoted,=37,000$
As much as some of the parts are good used parts, assuming nothing else is as bad as the broke block, the windowed block, and god knows what may be wrong with the alcohol/top fuel block and heads, and your asking A body guys for 37grand in this economy to rebuild them.A new hemi crate motor from some of the ware house seller,s is 14,300$.A new hemi block is 3 grand, and you can find a complete used hemi for 5-8 grand.I wish you luck and hope you find that 1 buyer that has those deep pockets and close to 40 grand to spend on 2 used motors, really, mrmopartech

i knew i should of never put them on here , u guys are worse than women , dont ever have anything good to say , always bust n somebodies balls, least i said i knew nothing about them !!! in stead of pretending to know everything , got them in a package deal !! so i dont know much about hemis, big deal i have room to learn, you all are stuck in ur own ways and thats it !! if you think its scrap metal then just keep ur mouth shut cause everything u got is all so perfect !! the stuff that u call bondo is i dont know i didnt notice it till the pics , have not looked into yet , that piece of block u say is missing , wow looks like it is right there needs a repair , or they don't do that in ur world !! and if u want a crate engine go get one , and another thing these are engines not motors !! motors are electric !! as for you a-body guys sorry i wasted ur time !! and you can take ur e-bay and ur five dollars with no reserve and shut it !! seems all anybody wants to do on this site is bust everybody else's balls !! Whatever

Looks like you all broke 1 and 4 of Joey's rules

.....you can take ur e-bay and ur five dollars with no reserve and shut it !!

Relax. Why? That is how you truly find the value of what you've got.......isn't it? You stick it on an auction site with no reserve, and let the bidding start at ground zero. Versus....coming up with some arbitrary astronomical number for a price, then claim you know nothing about the engines.

I do not disagree with some of the comments made on this thread, but maybe there is a better way to send the message without pissing off the seller. I do think that if someone is selling something and no one responds to the add, it will or should tell the seller that he needs to re-think the price he is asking or at the very least state why he thinks the price he is asking is correct. Sometimes not responding to the seller, even if you disagree will speak louder then telling him he is nuts.

if you think its scrap metal then just keep ur mouth shut cause everything u got is all so perfect !! the stuff that u call bondo is i dont know i didnt notice it till the pics , have not looked into yet , that piece of block u say is missing , wow looks like it is right there needs a repair , or they don't do that in ur world !! and if u want a crate engine go get one , and another thing these are engines not motors !! motors are electric !! as for you a-body guys sorry i wasted ur time !! and you can take ur e-bay and ur five dollars with no reserve and shut it !! seems all anybody wants to do on this site is bust everybody else's balls !! Your asking price suggests that these are in useable condition. Do you have any documentation from a machinist for review?

I'm interested but that asking price will require documented condition.

Thank you.

Not True in this case because the seller asked for comments ... you know the old saying "watch out what you wish for" ...

Look at post #3. You came back and ASKED for what you got. YOU poked the bear, not anybody else. You asked a question and it got answered. Simple as that.

i knew i should of never put them on here , u guys are worse than women , dont ever have anything good to say , always bust n somebodies balls, least i said i knew nothing about them !!! in stead of pretending to know everything , got them in a package deal !! so i dont know much about hemis, big deal i have room to learn, you all are stuck in ur own ways and thats it !! if you think its scrap metal then just keep ur mouth shut cause everything u got is all so perfect !! the stuff that u call bondo is i dont know i didnt notice it till the pics , have not looked into yet , that piece of block u say is missing , wow looks like it is right there needs a repair , or they don't do that in ur world !! and if u want a crate engine go get one , and another thing these are engines not motors !! motors are electric !! as for you a-body guys sorry i wasted ur time !! and you can take ur e-bay and ur five dollars with no reserve and shut it !! seems all anybody wants to do on this site is bust everybody else's balls !!
