I'm getting to the point of ordering a floor pan for my cuda.
Has anyone used the one from AMD ?
I saw awhile back someone posted up they were having a 25% off sale. How often does that happen? How do you know when they are having a sale?
I opened an account with them, hoping to get in the loop for notifications. Who has used one from AMD and how well does it fit? I'm in Florida and go through Georgia a couple times a year, so I could maybe even pick it up to save the freight charge. I've compared to Classic's prices and their shipping is not very friendly. Any input on AMDs fitment ?

Got a full AMD in 69 vert. Fit great zero issues. If you go thru Georgia and pickup I would imagine that's the best deal you will get?
Tamaraz (I think).had a big sale a while back...

I went Amazon and with my prime account, shipping was free for all of the metal that we replaced on my dart.

Saved over 1k in shipping alone.

Sounds crazy but they were AMD parts and the prices were lower on a few items.

So they ship truck freight free ?

The AMD parts always fit very well. I replaced both front pans in my 67 Valiant with AMD pans. The worst part of the job was cutting out the OEM spot welds. I used a rotobroach from Blair. It made the job much easier, but it still took most of a weekend to get the originals out. Another time saving tool for installing the new ones is a hand held pneumatic hole punch like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007QV7WW0/?tag=joeychgo-20

If you aren't a really experienced welder, you should practice doing rosette welds a bit before you burn in the new parts. But by the time you're done, you will be an expert at rosette welds!

This tool was my weapon of choice.
Had the floor out in about an hour. Dress down with a flexible disk grinder afterwards. Welded most my life, just have to use like magnify glasses to see what I'm trying to weld anymore. Lol.

I used the full Amd floor in my 67 notch. Went in great. I think I ordered mine from summit, they usually have their little promos

AMD fit awesome in my 74 Dodge dart. Just finished the install. I also used a pneumatic hole punch, saves time!!

Wow what's with the big cutout for in the tunnel ? I have the option of an auto and 4spd . I know I'll have to cut a hole for the 4spd but I hope not that big. Got mine installed yesterday

Rust!!!

I cut it out with the old floor plans but haven't replaced it yet as I'm not sure what direction I'll go with the tranny. As much as I love the idea of the new Passing A855's, still not sold on that being a better choice than a new Tremec.

That looks really good bye!! Nice work.

I'm just on my way out to the garage to do just that right now!! Then herculiner to finish it off.

That's what I used on the rest of the under body and wheel wells instead of undercoat. You think that would be good on the top side too?

Ok, I have the floor installed. A couple little clips came with it. What are they for and where do they go?

Thanks for any insight.

I have the cable stay welded on for the park brake. But don't see a use for these yet.
Getting the 4 spd all cut and fitted. Sure hated to cut that big hole in the new $500 bill. LOL
